CDÉNÉ... Who are we?
Founded in 1999, the CDÉNÉ is a non-profit organization devoted to the betterment of the well-being and quality of life of Acadians and Francophones of Nova Scotia. We assist and support the Acadian and Francophone regions in matters of economic development, employability and promotion of the Acadian and Francophone business community of the province in order to facilitate economic diversity and growth.

Our projects...
The Réseau de développement économique et d'employabilité Nouvelle-Écosse (RDÉE N.-É.) is CDÉNÉ's major project. RDÉE N.-É. seeks to provide the Acadian community with economic development tools through their activities in the following sectors: tourism, integration of youth in the economic development, knowledge-based economy and rural development. These services are offererd to facilitate economic growth and the creation of sustainable employment. RDÉE's satellite offices are located in Clare, Tusket, Richmond, Cheticamp and at the head office in Halifax.

Since October 1st, 2006, the Centre d'aide en affaires et en entrepreneuriat (CAAE), previously knows as Centre Jodrey, is under the direction of the CDÉNÉ, in partnership with l'Université Sainte-Anne. CAAE is the means by which the CDÉNÉ acts as a University Business Development Centre (UBDC), offering consultation services regarding business plans and marketing plans, as well as business counselling, training and translation services.
