The CAAE's mission is to improve the economy in the Acadian and Francophone regions of Nova Scotia while providing an appropiate range of high quality business services for companies and non-profit organizations in these regions. In collaboration with Université Sainte-Anne and working as a University Business Development Centre (UBDC), the CAAE favours the full participation of the university students in the accomplishment if this mandate.
As of October 1st, 2006, the CAAE has been under the direction of Le Conseil de développement économique de la Nouvelle-Écosse (CDÉNÉ), in partnership with Université Sainte-Anne. The primary gial of this transfer of responsibility is to offer business services to the Acadian and Francophone community within the province of Nova Scotia.
